Arabesque Pattern     

The arabesque pattern symbolizes the transcendent, indivisible and infinite nature of God. Mistakes in repetitions may be intentionally introduced as a show of humility by artists who believe only the Creator can produce perfection. A symbol of longevity.

Leaves

Leaves represent growth and renewal. Also happiness and well-being. They symbolize the cycle of life.

Stargazer Lily

These flowers symbolize wealth, prosperity, romance, and fortune. Stargazer Lily is the flower of friendship. The flower buds open towards the sky, sending a message of gratitude.

Telescope (in the lilies)

A telescope is an instrument that is used to view distant objects. It serves as an eye to the sky.

Cicada

The cicada is known as the “tree cricket”. These insects symbolize resurrection and immortality. Cicadas have an exceptionally loud song and sing at night to avoid predators. They represent carefree living. Their constant chirping is likened to rich poetry. The cicada is seen as protection against backstabbers. The cicada aids in the development, recognition, and emergence of “the true self” through the phases of life.

Full Moon

Represents emotions and feelings. The moon is the eye of the night signifying peace, serenity, wholeness, and spiritual power.  A full moon symbolizes an open door for meaningful people to step into one’s life.

The musical note represents a universal form of communication.

Pearl

The pearl symbolizes wisdom acquired through experience. It attracts wealth and luck and offers protection. Known for its calming effect, the pearl balances one’s karma. Pearls strengthen relationships. The pearl reflects the purity, generosity, integrity, and loyalty of its wearer.

Gold Chain

The gold chain links heaven and earth. The links in the chain symbolize power and lasting unity. The shiny links attract the curiosity of the raven.

Artichoke

The artichoke has many petals, with thistle and a heart.

The thistle protects the tender heart.

Rope (the chain rope)

The rope symbolizes rites of passage. It applies bonds and limits while enabling infinite extension and freedom. The rope gives access to the heavens.

Stars

Stars are light bearers symbolizing guidance, constancy, divine grace, and self reliance.

Raven

Ravens are wanderers with the ability to recognize old friends. The raven is the only bird to understand the interpretations of the Gods. The raven is a harbinger of change. Ravens symbolize hidden potential and instinct. Bright shiny objects attrac

Butterfly

Butterflies symbolize transformation, resurrection, joy, beauty, and growth of the human spirit.

Marbles

Marble games date from antiquity. They’ve been found in the ashes of Pompeii and in the tombs of ancient Egyptians. Mass production of marbles began in 1884 in Akron, Ohio, which became the marble capital of late-19th century America. When two people randomly choose the same marble from a large bin, it symbolizes a solid bond of sisterhood.

Sycamore Tree

Sycamores designate joy and mirth. This great tree stands at the eastern gate of heaven that releases the sun to rise each morning. Sycamore trees were known to the ancient Egyptians as the “Tree of Life”. They are distinguished by their longevity, symbolizing perpetual life. A single branch growing from the sycamore trunk represents triumph over misfortune (the raven is sitting on a single branch). The sycamore tree is often depicted dispensing food and drink of immortality, symbolizing renewal in the after world. The sap and the fruit of the sycamore represent mercy and compassion.

The sycamore seed pod spreads readily by the wind. The seed is carried in the characteristic “double samaras” or winged fruits. The paired winged fruits of the sycamore are known

as ‘helicopters’.

Circle

The circle represents various steps toward inner perfection, the universal sign of completeness and eternity.  Circles symbolize the cycles of life. They designate timelessness (no beginning or end) and spacelessness (no above or below).
